Paralegal in Intellectual Property (Coordination of Transnational Litigation)

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our French team. This is a full-time, permanent contract position with the possibility of partial remote work. The ideal candidate will be based in either 75002 Paris or 69002 Lyon, as chosen by the candidate. The scheduled start date is as soon as possible, and remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s profile and experience. Additionally, we offer a 13th-month bonus. We are looking for an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support our coordination activity.

About you

Missions – The duties of this position are as follows:

  • Assisting the team in coordinating transnational litigation cases
  • Housekeeping of several databases (iManage, SharePoint)
  • Filing of documents, correspondence and other materials
  • Organization, maintenance and updating of litigation event calendars (SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Scheduling conference calls and organizing meetings
  • Keeping coordination documents up to date (administrative information, competitive intelligence, national laws, strategic comments, action plan, litigation follow-up, calendar).
  • Drafting and preparation of emails and letters
  • Autonomous management of specific tasks and direct link with clients and local counsels in various countries (selection of local counsels to be retained, verification of conflicts, sharing of information between different teams, implementation of questionnaires to be sent to various countries and monitoring responses thereof).
  • Budget and invoice tracking
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by lawyers

Training (level of education – specialty)

Minimum of 3 years’ higher education in law or equivalent and/or at least 1 year’s experience in a similar position in a law firm.
