Sven Krause works in German and European patent law, in particular as a Representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). With a focus on a range of technologies including mechanical engineering, semiconductors, IT and telecommunications, Sven has been involved in significant proceedings before national courts and the UPC, often in the context of global patent disputes.

Sven regularly advises on standard-essential patents, FRAND licensing and the coordination of international parallel proceedings. In addition to his forensic work, Sven has particular experience in the examination, evaluation and transfer of technical IP rights in the context of corporate transactions.
