Ward Vleeshouwers

Agente de patentes en prácticas

Ward is training to become Dutch and European patent attorney in the field of electronics, mechanics, and software. Ward drafts patent applications and advises clients during granting and opposition procedures. He further provides technical support during patent litigation cases.

Ward has a research background in theoretical physics. He did his master thesis studies with Gerard ‘t Hooft, 1999 Nobel Prize winner in Physics. During his doctoral research, he wrote and published and academic textbook on black holes, as well as various scientific articles on physics topics such as random matrices, quantum  chaos, and quantum gravity, in leading scientific publications. Postdoctoral work at the R&D-division of a quantum computing startup led to his first encounter with patent law in his role as inventor.
